Physio Team Horning | Im Gundeli – Contacts & Location
Description
Thanks to our excellently trained team, which has come together and developed over the course of our practice's existence, we can provide you with almost any currently relevant physiotherapy service. Regular, targeted internal and external training ensures that you are treated according to the latest findings and best methods.
From the very beginning, we have placed great value on a good working atmosphere in our practice, both for patients and among the therapists.
This certainly makes your visit with us more pleasant, but also leads to an optimal professional exchange of information and a high level of motivation among the entire team.
Therapies:
- Conventional physiotherapy:
Manual therapy (SAMT),
The aim of manual therapy is to identify disorders of the musculoskeletal system and provide appropriate treatment. These techniques are performed with the hands (manually). They are gentle and painless.
Manual techniques in the broadest sense are among the oldest medical interventions and have existed for thousands of years in all cultures and in a wide variety of ways.
Functional taping:
Functional taping involves the use of elastic bandages that can support restricted functions depending on how they are applied (e.g. forefoot lift weakness to enable functional and pain-free rolling when walking) or to train movements in the sense of functional training (e.g. not yet optimal hip stability in the supporting leg phase after the use of a prosthesis).
Functional kinesiology:
According to Klein-Vogelbach, there is an ideal body structure, which she calls the "hypothetical norm". It is characterized by optimal weight distribution and favorable lengths, widths and depths of the trunk and extremities. The ideal physique enables economical movement behavior.
The FBL therapy approach follows the economic principle: maximum performance with minimum effort and minimum wear and tear.
The basis is the assessment of the "functional status" (findings), which records the deviations from the norm and describes the "functional problem". Treatment is carried out with therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques. In addition to very detailed instructions for the patient, these also include the modification of model exercises in relation to their functional problem.
Sling table
The sling table is a therapeutic aid that enables the therapist to carry out treatments while partially removing the patient's own weight or individual affected body sections. Depending on the diagnosis and therapeutic objective, these body sections are suspended from the sling table using slings attached to rope cords
- Sports physiotherapy
- Lymphatic drainage: A pleasant, relieving manual treatment for lymph decongestion in case of overload or disease of the lymphatic system (edema formation).
It is only useful in combination with compression therapy.
- Sock technique: a fine type of manual therapy. A great deal can be achieved with low intensity through in-depth knowledge of the joint situation. A holistic (body) form of therapy.
- Spiral dynamics: an active way of tackling body problems with a view to the whole body. The shape of the spiral provides a stimulating basis for movement.
- Dorn-Breuss therapy: a sensible combination of a passive and an active form of therapy. The Breuss massage takes place in a prone position, is calming and uniform. Dorn therapy is an active mobilization technique in which the patient participates in the manual mobilization by the therapist. Liberating!
- Breathing therapy: with Flutter, Spirotiger, manual breathing therapy
- MTT: medical training therapy
- FDM: Fascial therapy (fascial distortion model)
