Per Piedi is the largest foot care institute in Switzerland and is part of the Coop cooperative. Only medically qualified specialists with podiatry training work at Per Piedi. We also offer treatments in hospitals and retirement homes as well as home visits.

Medical foot care

The classic pedicure treatment includes cutting, filing and probing nails. Ingrown nails are also treated and hard skin, corns and calluses are removed. Diabetics and patients who have to take blood-thinning medication are also in the right hands with us. Professional, medical foot care is particularly important and recommended for these people.

 

Ortheses

Ortheses are custom-made silicone relief devices that relieve painful pressure points such as corns or hammer toes.

 

Nail clasp technique

Painful ingrown nails can be treated with various clasp techniques such as the BS, Goldstadt or titanium technique. With the BS clasping technique, for example, a plastic spring plate is glued to the nail. The spring forces, which are now evenly distributed over the entire nail, prevent painful overloading points.

Nail prosthetics

Nail defects are often unpleasant and painful disabilities in both functional and cosmetic terms. However, these can be remedied with nail prosthetics using a gel nail replacement to restore the nail plate.

Taping

Taping is used for functional and mechanical correction. They can provide passive support or be used for pain relief for example with:

• Hallux valgus, splayfoot or hammer toe complaints
• Flat/kinked foot
• As support for ingrown nails
• Knee problems
• Haglund's heel/heel spur
• After operations on hammer/claw toes

Medical massages

 

We offer a foot and lower leg massage to improve general well-being and promote blood circulation. The muscle tissue is massaged using 18 different massage techniques.

Foot reflexology therapy

This therapy can be used to treat back and abdominal pain, hay fever, digestive problems or headaches, for example, using targeted strokes.

Energy blockages are released so that energy flows can flow unhindered through the body again.

Classical massage

Classical massage is the ideal form of treatment for muscle tension, back, shoulder and neck pain, rheumatic and joint complaints and other physical impairments.

Manual lymphatic drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage promotes the removal of tissue fluid and increases the lymph vessels' own motor function. Among other things, this therapy is indicated after accidents and operations as well as for oedema and migraines
