A Different Kind of Dog Training School with a Holistic Approach

Allegra – it’s great to have you here! Does it bother you that your dog pulls strongly on the leash instead of walking calmly by your side? Do you hesitate to let them off the leash because they don’t reliably come back when called or start chasing things? Do you often find walks with your dog stressful because they bark furiously at other dogs and people, forcing you to avoid any contact? Do your neighbors complain because your dog barks endlessly when left alone at home? Do you avoid inviting visitors because your dog barks aggressively at them? Are you worried that your dog might bite in uncontrolled situations? Are you dealing with other challenges with your dog and looking for comprehensive and effective training for both of you? Or do you have a puppy or a young dog going through puberty, and you just want to do everything right? Then you are in the right place! Because I’ve been there, too. Luckily, I found competent help, and today, I am here to help you as well. If you want to address and permanently solve the small and big problems with your dog, to grow together and become an unbeatable, happy team, contact me to schedule a free, no-obligation initial consultation. I work in the Upper Engadin region and offer you and your dog a complete, practical, and tailor-made individual coaching program based on a clear training plan tailored to your needs. Book your appointment today! My Approach 4-Pfoten Coaching is a different kind of dog training school, based on a holistic approach. As a coach for human-dog teams, I dedicate my work to both the dog and the person. Whether your dog barks furiously on the leash, at the garden gate, behind the window, or at the door, attacks people or other dogs, chases animals, cars, bicycles, or joggers, barks at visitors, or ignores your call while off-leash... you’re in the right place! I will show you how to achieve all your goals and wishes, for example: • Taking your dog anywhere without any worries; • Meeting other dogs or people without stress or fear; • Letting your dog into the garden without constant barking; • Having a relaxed dog that focuses on you and walks calmly on a loose leash; • Letting your dog run free without worries, knowing they will reliably come back even in distracting situations. My Working Method Every human-dog team is supported through personalized individual coaching. During a free, no-obligation initial analysis , consisting of a one-hour walk, I will get to know you and your dog and show you what the path to a more harmonious life together could look like. If you decide to work with me, you will receive: • A customized training plan for you and your dog to achieve your goals; • Dedicated 1:1 coaching , conducted in a suitable location, at your home, or online via Zoom; • Mindset coaching to support your personal development and improve your relationship with your dog; • Access to a private online member area , filled with valuable information about living with your dog; • Support between sessions via Zoom, phone, or WhatsApp; • Video analysis of your personal training sessions; • The opportunity to regularly participate in guided walks , even after completing the program, to reinforce what you’ve learned with other teams and gain new experiences (e.g., taking a cable car ride with your dog). Schedule your free initial consultation today! About Me My name is Nici (Nicole) Pirola, and I live with my husband, our dog Mia, and four cats in Bever, in the beautiful Engadin region. I decided to pursue training in Germany as a dog trainer specializing in problematic dogs, to help other human-dog teams facing similar challenges. I know how stressful and exhausting such situations can be. During my training, I realized that this approach is valuable for every human-dog team, even when there are no major problems, but perhaps there is a need to improve leash manners or correct annoying behaviors. To offer an open and highly personalized approach for every human-dog team, I continuously further my education with experts in the field, both in Italy and abroad.

Montessori Happy Kids

Montessori Happy Kids

Chemin de Compostelle 10, 1212 Grand-Lancy
An innovative bilingual school to learn and grow differently

Education as an aid to life. Happy Kids, a private Montessori school in Lancy (Geneva), welcomes children aged 3 to 6 in a bilingual, stimulating and caring environment, to give them the keys to tomorrow's world. Each child receives individual and caring support to help them develop their full potential and reveal all their talents. Happy Kids Montessori School is a school open to the world. Throughout the year, we offer educational activities for children and adults. What do we learn in a Montessori class? The Montessori Happy Kids school offers an active, solution-focused education, encouraging pupils' autonomy to build their own resources and collaborate on joint projects while respecting others and the environment. Montessori Happy Kids offers a wide range of activities to help children acquire all the fundamental skills (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.), as well as discovering the world through lessons in history, geography, science, technology and the arts. How does bilingualism work? Learning a foreign language from a very early age makes it easier to achieve bilingualism and promotes all aspects of cognitive development, while giving children a way of opening up to the world. ● The presence of 2 teachers per class, one French-speaking and the other English-speaking, enables pupils to follow the syllabus of the Plan d'Etude Romand in both languages. ● Fun activities in all areas of learning are offered in English, depending on the level of each child. The English-speaking teacher also participates in the children's daily life activities (mealtimes, dressing, naps) to anchor the learning of this language in concrete situations. ● Children are encouraged to speak English, through individual or small group interactions with the English-speaking teacher. Do you assess your pupils? In a Montessori school, assessment is not a tool used to classify children, still less to put them in competition with each other. Daily observation of the children by the teachers is a very powerful tool for adapting teaching to the specific needs of each child. The progress, difficulties and successes of each child are noted every day in order to define the most appropriate and effective work plan possible. Two parent/teacher meetings are organised each year to discuss each child's progress. What happens to children after a 3-6 Montessori? There is no single answer to the question of what happens to children after attending a 3-6 Montessori class, as this depends on a number of individual factors such as their aspirations, their subsequent school career and their environment. However, in general, children who have been educated in Montessori tend to develop skills such as autonomy, curiosity, the ability to learn independently and self-confidence, which can help them to succeed in their later school and working lives. Montessori education also encourages self-discovery and problem-solving, which can help children become critical and creative thinkers later in life. Children can continue their education in any type of school system (Swiss, French, international, etc.).
