Wir haben ein Haus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert in der Collina D´Oro gekauft und von Thomas Kaelin (BAUM Studio) komplett umfangreich sanieren und Umbauen lassen. Die Liegenschaft ist nun wie neu ohne dass sie an ihrem Charme verloren hat. Wir hatten schon viele Liegenschaften gekauft und saniert. So reibungslos und vertrauensvoll wie mit Thomas Kaelin hat die Zusammenarbeit mit einem Architekten noch nie funktioniert. History of the business Sangiorgio Silvano e Marco SA, Architects was founded in 1972 by Silvano Sangiorgio. When his son Marco joined in 1995, the legal form of the business became a public limited company. Architect Marco Sangiorgio then became co-owner and sole CEO. I graduated in 1988 from the former STS, now known as SUPSI, receiving the Maraini and Schindler awards for the highest grades. From 1988 until '93, I worked for several architectural firms in Canton Ticino. In 1993, at the age of 28, I decided to start my own practice. Over the years, I have completed numerous projects, the vast majority for private clients, including single-family homes (new builds or renovations), duplexes, apartment buildings, as well as some public establishments such as bars and shops. I personally oversee the work from design to building delivery. I also provide real estate appraisals for banks, public entities, and private clients. Additionally, I offer project management services for third parties. The decision to open my own studio has proven successful, as it has allowed me to enjoy the freedom that independence offers – freedom of time, choices, opinions, and ideas. During these years, I have developed excellent working relationships, and later friendships, with many individuals.
