Caring for and looking after the eyes as the so-called "mirror of the soul" and as an extremely important organ for most people is an extremely important and meaningful task for me. Born in Basel and raised in Riehen, my years of training in internal medicine, geriatrics and pediatrics form an important basis for my medical work. I was able to pursue my ophthalmological training at the renowned eye clinic at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital and then return to my home town of Basel to complete my training at the eye hospital in Basel and the eye center at Basel train station and obtain my specialist title in ophthalmology.

Since then, I have been working at the Augenzentrum am Bahnhof Basel, the Augenzentrum Riehen and the Augenzentrum Möhlin in a team that operates at a high level, both personally and professionally, in order to dedicate myself to the care and treatment of all types of eye problems.
