Roseg Horse-Omnibus Take the public horse-drawn omnibus according to the schedule to Val Roseg. The picturesque Val Roseg leads from Pontresina southward up to the Roseg Glacier. The car-free road winds gently upwards, crossing the Ova da Roseg twice and ending at 2,000 meters above sea level at the Roseg Glacier Hotel Restaurant. Behind the hotel, a large plain stretches out towards the glacier lake. During the season, our public horse-drawn omnibus operates daily, following the schedule, from Pontresina to the hotel and back. Private Carriage and Sleigh Rides Enjoy a private carriage ride in an intimate setting. For those who prefer a more private atmosphere, we offer private carriage rides, or in winter, sleigh rides when possible. Chesa Pool In 1585, by order of Baptista von Salis, the Chesa Pool was built. Since then, its charm has extended through the centuries to the present day. Many generations, families, adventurers and lovers of the Fex Valley have left their mark on the Chesa Pool. Since 2020, it has had an exclusively vegetarian restaurant, the first in the Engadin. Its fresh, modern concept, combined with the traditional ambience, results in an unforgettable experience for all the senses. You can enjoy our cuisine both indoors and on the sun terrace, surrounded by peace and nature. Every Sunday we offer grilled vegetarian specialities at your discretion accompanied by pleasant live music.
