Familycare Basel (formerly profawo Basel) is a specialist in balancing family and work, offering high-quality, individual and flexible services for the care of children and all other family members: daycare centers (Kitas), day kindergarten, nannies, emergency nannies, holiday camps, family counseling, relief services, events and courses. Founded as «Childcare Service Basel» in 2000 and known from 2013 to mid-2019 under the name "profawo Basel", we have now been operating completely independently and under the name Familycare Basel since July 1, 2019. The new name of our organization underlines our promise: to provide professional, high-quality and personal advice and support for the whole family, with a strong base in Basel and in North-West Switzerland. From our Basel headquarters, we serve our clients throughout Switzerland and in neighboring countries through our branch network and with selected partners.
