Founded in 1997, the Glâne Day Family Reception Association aims to provide parents and communities with a day-long family care structure. The Association is of public utility and non-profit and its headquarters is in Romont. The Association provides information on the arrangements, organizes and supports the reception of children from birth until the end of 8-hour primary school (12 years) in the home of a host. The Association is made up of a general assembly (individual and collective members) as well as a committee. Family day care represents an alternative to collective structures, promoting balance between family and professional life.
