I use a 3rd wave cognitive-behavioural approach, aiming for mutually defined solutions within a minimal time frame. Whilst I acknowledge and explore each person's origins and shaping influences from their past, my focus is on "the here and now" with the potential of future improvements. I am a general and visceral surgeon with a private practice in Geneva, Switzerland. I started my surgical internship in Greece in 2008 and in 2014 I was accredited as a general surgeon after completing a part of my training in France. Thereafter, I continued my post-CCT training in the UK (Royal Free London and Imperial College NHS Trusts) and in 2016 I moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where I worked in the departments of pediatric and visceral surgery. In 2020 I pursued a Royal College of Surgeons of England accredited fellowship in benign upper GI surgery at Torbay Hospital in the UK and in 2021 I returned to Switzerland and I worked in the department of surgery of the cantonal hospital of Fribourg as well as in the department of pediatric surgery of the university hospital of Geneva. I have a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of the different pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract and the abdominal wall. My Royal College of Surgeons fellowship in benign upper GI surgery provided me with the skills and experience to treat various pathologies of the esophagus, the diaphragm and the stomach such as achalasia, GERD and paraesophageal hernias as well as to perform laparoscopic exploration of the common bile duct. In addition, my last appointment in the department of pediatric surgery of HUG gave me the opportunity to familiarise myself with different pediatric surgical pathologies and to consolidate my surgical aptitudes for their treatment.

Je fait des kilometres depuis la France si nécessaire mais je ne pourrais pas faire confiance a personne d'autres. Le cabinet de Villeuse est le meilleur, et quand il s'agit de la santé de mes petites je ne risquerais jamais avec un autre Vétérinaire. Elles sont trop importantes pour moi. Je vous conseille fortement ce Vétérinaire!

Equipe au grand coeur.tres humain et a l ecoute du bien etre de l animal et de son maitre

Je me suis rendue chez la vétérinaire Alexandra Durrer pour recevoir des informations sur un chat qui s'est établi chez moi et dont je ne connaissais pas le cursus médical. Elle a passé une heure a examiner ce chat égaré. Elle a pu me renseigner sur son âge, son état général, le régime à suivre et déterminer qu'il ne souffrait pas d'hyperthyroïdie, comme je le craignais au vu de son appétit vorace. Elle a pu confirmer sa surdité et m'a appris ce que j'ignorais, à savoir qu'il n'avait pas toutes ses dents. Il faut dire pour ma décharge que je sais qu'il ne vaut mieux pas introduire ses doigts dans la cavité buccale d'un chat, surtout pas d'un chat que l'on ne connait pas. En résumé une expérience extrêmement positive et lorsque je prendrai à nouveau un chien, c'est chez la doctoresse Dürrer qu'il se fera choyer. Recommendation chaleureuse et grand merci d'avoir éclairé ma chandelle au sujet de cet animal qui avait bien besoin de ses soins. Danièle Tinsman.

Je suis une cliente et cela fait 27 ans que je fais appel aux services de cette clinique vétérinaire pour mes animaux, les Dr Alain Guerne et Dr Wolfgang Uebersax sont des vétérinaires très complémentaires, connaissant excellemment bien leur travail et très sérieux. Les montants des prestations sont à la hauteur de leurs compétences. Très bonne réputation en Suisse et à l'étranger. Le personnel soignant est présent depuis de nombreuses années. Je l'a recommande vivement à tous propriétaires d'animaux. Très pratique pour accéder, près de la sortie d'autoroute. MR Dupont c’est toujours bien occupé de ma chienne jusqu’à la fin il a été très pro et très humain et d’une gentillesse extraordinaire.
