PHILOSOPHY
As sustainably oriented gardeners, we offer maintenance and horticultural services. In doing so, we take into account the environmental and social impact of our business activities.
When redesigning or redesigning your garden, we submit design proposals that integrate the user's wishes into a natural overall concept. Of course, selective changes can also be implemented, which can already achieve major improvements in terms of well-being and biodiversity.
The focus in the area of maintenance is on making maintenance work as close to nature as possible, identifying problem areas and proposing appropriate solutions to customers. The avoidance of chemical pesticides should be just as much a matter of course as the promotion of site-adapted and biodiversity-promoting flora. Maintenance costs can also be reduced by planting partially self-regulating natural areas.
It is possible to carry out joint work activities with customers or residents of properties. The focus here is on the participatory co-design of one's own living space. This combination of joint creation and the associated experience of nature has an influence on life satisfaction that should not be underestimated and also has a positive effect on the assumption of responsibility in the neighborhood environment, even if this is only the increased care of collectively used areas of a property.
High employee satisfaction is very important to us. Appropriate social security standards are a matter of course. We pay fair wages that are above the industry median wage. In terms of occupational benefits, we are affiliated with the Nest collective foundation, which invests its capital in accordance with the highest ecological and social criteria.
We work exclusively with partners who meet our ethical and sustainability criteria. In addition, we have a working group with several specialists in natural gardening.
We use low-emission resources in our work, as our aim is to avoid any negative impact on the environment. For example, we use cargo bikes with trailers for the majority of our services and coordinate our operations primarily according to environmental impact criteria. As a rule, this also leads to an increase in efficiency. This not only reduces direct consequences such as pollutant emissions, noise, road traffic and safety aspects, but also indirect effects. Where this is economically acceptable, we rely on manual work and the use of battery-powered devices.
We want to pass on our experience of nature to our customers and green space users in a variety of ways. For example, we always put together an information sheet for institutional clients after the work has been completed, listing the work carried out and explaining the context of this work in relation to the environment and the specific location. It is particularly important to us that we take into account the needs of local residents and any potential conflicts of use that may arise. Our planning approach always includes people too!
We are currently working with a specialist company to draw up an environmental impact assessment for all of our services and products in order to make our activities even more environmentally friendly. Our long-term goal is to be able to report all environmental impacts individually for all customers. This is in order to make adjustments as well as to remove CO2 generated by the activity from the atmosphere by means of "direct air capturing".
