The right bed climate...
The climate in the bed has a very significant influence on the effects of tension and, in addition to a good bed system, is also responsible for healthy, restful sleep. The sleeping climate is made up of many different factors:
Basic constitution: All types of people are present, from those with a cold to those who sweat.
Room temperature: The room temperature has a major influence. Bedrooms that are too cold can cause great rheumatic tension.
Humidity: Changes greatly in summer and winter. Because the air is too dry in winter, many people leave the window open and therefore use a comforter that is too warm. When switching from the deep sleep phase to the REM phase, the body heats up relatively quickly! Heat builds up and we cover ourselves up. This means that we expose our damp, heated body to the cold air. The cold shock causes our body to tense up and there is a risk of lumbago and even rheumatism.
Underlay: The climate is significantly influenced by the mattress and its cover. Materials that do not cause heat build-up and wick away moisture are ideal. Caution: Wool absorbs and stores moisture.
