Founded in 1946, OBA AG has developed from a pure manufacturer of mattresses and upholstered furniture into a competent and reliable partner in the hospital supplies sector in the more than sixty years it has been in business. With over 30 employees, we have made a name for ourselves in Switzerland, particularly in the field of pressure ulcer prevention and therapy.

For over twenty years, we have been known and valued by experts as a leading manufacturer of anti-decubitus mattresses. The products are developed and clinically tested in collaboration with the Geriatric University Clinic Basel. Production in Basel is customized and mainly manual. This makes us an extremely flexible partner, both for custom-made products or tight delivery deadlines, as well as for large orders and complex furnishing projects.

Our upholstery workshop specializes in the classic reupholstery and repair of antique seating furniture and is also proficient in industrial upholstery for large-scale projects.

We attach great importance to the careful processing of our products, which meet the highest quality standards. OBA is certified according to EN ISO 9001. Together with our partners, we are also present in the rest of Europe, Asia and the USA.
