La Maison

A non-profit, lay foundation recognized as being of public benefit, La Maison de Tara opened its doors in 2011 thanks to the support of communes - in particular that of Chêne-Bougeries - and generous donors.

Our vision is for everyone to experience the end of life with humanity and dignity. We believe in the importance of training those who are called upon to accompany a loved one affected by chronic illness, disability or at the end of life.

Admissions

La Maison de Tara offers 4 fully-equipped and comfortable rooms, as well as a beautiful garden large enough for a stroll.

La Maison de Tara welcomes residents of all ages and nationalities, meeting certain criteria.

 Every application for admission is subject to an overall assessment by La Maison de Tara, in liaison with the resident and the doctor or care institution.

Relatives of our residents are welcome at La Maison de Tara. Invited to get involved in the resident's care, they benefit from the active support of the home's volunteers and professionals.
