The PaSiWo restaurant is an idyllic, spirited and passionately run family business on Kasernenplatz in the heart of Basel. We offer freshly cooked Mediterranean cuisine and are also available for events, drinks receptions and much more. About us

The Wolf family has been in the hospitality industry since 1977 and ran the Restaurant zum Wurzengraber on Messeplatz for 41 years. When the construction of the Claraturm was put to the vote in 2007, the Wolf family made provisions and secured a second mainstay. In 2018, the time had come and the move to the former Bläsitörli took place, but the Wolf family wanted to give the new restaurant a personal touch. The restaurant was therefore renamed PaSiWo. The name is made up of the owners. The result is an idyllic, lively restaurant in the heart of Basel, for everyone!

In the PaSiWo restaurant you will find a variety of Mediterranean and classic dishes, as well as a variety of exquisite wines from our wine cellar. Whether a small aperitif or a fine five-course menu, we have something for everyone. When you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by a rustic, traditional ambience with an open kitchen that lets you be part of the action. If required, you can also enjoy our excellent service in our beautifully developed cellar, which is ideal for meetings and smaller groups of up to 30 people. When the weather is fine, our idyllic terrace with its Italian flair invites you to relax. Be our guest and let us spoil you with culinary delights. Laugh and rejoice with us, feel at home.
