Since May 2014, Zumstein has also had a branch in Basel, having acquired the Waser Shop company. However, the former name Papyrus is better known at Freie Strasse 43. Papyrus, in turn, also brought together the specialists Thiel and Rebetez. This specialist store with five floors, connected by a remarkable staircase with a Corbusier color scheme, is considered by connoisseurs to be a particularly architecturally successful building. In addition to stationery and office supplies, a comprehensive selection of writing instruments and the expertly stocked artists' department are sure to impress.
