🔧⚙️🏗️🔩 ABOUT US 🏠🛠️🏭

Cosmetal Ghisla SA was founded in Biasca in 1969 when Giovanni Ghisla decided to establish the anonymous company. A few years later, he built the current workshop at Via Vincenzo Vela 10.Giovanni passed on his passion for the profession to his sons Christian and Nicola: both began their apprenticeship as metalworkers in their father's company.Christian continued his education, obtaining certificates as a metalwork draughtsman and workshop manager, and in 1998 he earned the diploma of master metalworker.A few years later, his brother Nicola followed the same training path. After the metalworker certificate, he moved to the canton of Bern, where he successfully completed the apprenticeship as a metalwork draughtsman. He then returned to the family business, and upon their father's well-deserved retirement, he joined Christian in managing the business. After his brother's untimely passing, Nicola took over the reins of the company and continued his education, obtaining the workshop manager certificate and in 2006 the master metalworker diploma.PROFESSIONALISMCosmetal Ghisla SA designs, manufactures, and installs autonomously, thanks to the expertise of its employees: a master metalworker, a metalwork draughtsman, a metalworker, and two workers.DYNAMISM AND FLEXIBILITYThe company has gradually adapted to the new market demands and current working methods by acquiring modern machinery, particularly for sheet metal processing (shear and CNC-controlled press brake). Last year, a van with a crane was also purchased. It is interested in the use of new materials and the development of special projects. In recent years, special attention has also been paid to the internal and external renovation of the workshop spaces, with the aim of making them more functional and comfortable. Also sensitive to environmental respect, during the renovation of the garages, several photovoltaic panels were installed.TRAININGCosmetal Ghisla SA believes in staff training and is seriously committed to the instruction of apprentices, the future of our companies.
