During 8 weeks, you'll work on technique as well as learn a choreography - whether classical oriental style, folkloric, or maybe even a drum solo.

This technique uses exercises that are modified to be done sitting or lying on the floor and are non-weight-bearing. This non-weight-bearing approach removes stress from the skeletal structure and the joints. Dancers often use this technique to improve their posture, strengthen their core muscles, and enhance their precision, helping them make corrections to their posture that remain in their muscle memory for when they are standing-up

Oriental dance gives us subtlety, sensuality, delicacy, feminine energy, and careful work of the inner muscles. Jazz and contemporary dances give us broader movements, more lines, and weight changes that counteract and complement the work of oriental dance through the power and amplitude of the movements.
