What is urology and who are we there for?
Urology concerns diseases or functional disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra of both sexes as well as the male genitalia and, in this context, also a part of andrology, namely reproduction.

Diagnostics
Diagnosis of functional disorders, diseases (benign and malignant) and injuries to

• Kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, bladder and urethra in women and men
• Prostate, seminal vesicle, testicles, epididymis and internal and external male genitalia

The latest generation of examination devices:

• Flexible cystoscopy under local anaesthetic
• Ultrasound incl. color Doppler and contrast agent
• Urinary flow measurement with residual urine check
• Three-dimensional ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy

Therapy
All conservative therapies are offered.
All surgical procedures, especially stone and tumor surgery on the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, bladder and urethra are performed for women and men DaVinci/robot-assisted laparoscopically (laparoscopy) and/or endoscopically (through the existing anatomical openings) and in rare cases openly.
All operations on the internal and external male genitalia are included.
