Mireya Sutter
"Mens sana in corpore sano" (A healthy mind in a healthy body)
The goal of my work is to establish a balanced, strong, and healthy connection between the body and mind. Only when both aspects are stable and robust can a vibrant, harmonious interplay emerge, resulting in physical and mental health. Life is a flowing river that should be able to roar and calm down, always remaining flexible and resilient. As a body therapist (medical massage and acupuncture massage according to Radloff) and integrative process facilitator, I assist my clients in removing obstacles on the physical and mental levels, allowing the body and mind to flow freely and enabling natural unfoldment of life. I dislike stagnation and advocate for dynamic growth and continuous development.
I grew up in two cultures, having roots in both Switzerland and Italy.
I am pleased to offer you my comprehensive expertise in applied body therapies and integrative bodywork. Together, we can embark on a journey of harmonizing the body and soul, alleviating discomfort, and promoting overall well-being. This is my commitment.
Medical Massage
Certified Medical Masseuse, Federal Diploma
The objective of medical massage is to intervene specifically in musculoskeletal disorders, restore mobility and performance, and create optimal conditions for further, if necessary, treatment steps. Through medical massage, muscles, joints, organs, and the nervous system are manually mobilized, resulting in both local and reflexive as well as generalized positive effects on the human body.
Medical massage primarily employs passive applications and techniques that are suitable for reducing, eliminating, or preventing abnormal and pathological conditions such as pain, postural abnormalities, and tension, thereby restoring, maintaining, and promoting normal and desired movement functions.
Medical massage can be applied for prevention, therapy, and rehabilitation, making it suitable for all individuals suffering from the consequences of illnesses, accidents, and congenital limitations of the musculoskeletal system, as well as those who seek to enhance the mobility and performance of a healthy body.
Behind medical massage lies a solid, multi-year education that requires a high level of expertise from the practitioner, enabling the analysis and targeted treatment of musculoskeletal, lymphatic, and nervous system issues.
APM Radloff
Certified Therapist in Radloff's Acupuncture Massage
Radloff's Acupuncture Massage (APM) is an independent method based on the principles of Chinese medicine and Western manual therapy practices. The goal of each APM treatment is to restore the necessary energetic balance for health.
To restore harmony in the body, the body's meridians are stroked using a metal rod, the pelvis is mobilized, spinal and peripheral joint mobility is enhanced, and an energetic treatment of the organs is performed.
Each treatment is based on the individual's current condition, employing various therapeutic concepts and unique, individually tailored treatment methods.
Radloff's Acupuncture Massage effectively treats a wide range of conditions, including back pain, whiplash, headaches, gynecological issues, digestive complaints, allergies, and chronic pain, providing sustainable relief.
