Description
Osteopathic treatment for infants, children, adults and pregnant women
Osteopathy
Our approach to osteopathy is a set of gentle, effective techniques that restore mobility to joints, tissues and organs. It is a set of manual techniques selected for their gentleness, safety and effectiveness. The aim of the treatment is to restore mobility to tissues or organs that have lost it.
Global therapy
The treatment is tailored to each individual. Illness or symptoms are always the result of several converging causes: stress, fatigue, accident, infection, disturbed psyche, poor hygiene, bad attitudes, etc.
Osteopathic techniques release tensions, blockages, and enable the body to bring into play its defense capacities, always taking into account the globality, i.e. the relationships of all elements to each other.
Gentle therapy
There are no brutal manipulations. The techniques are functional. The word "functional" means that the therapist respects the body's physiology and does not force.
Natural method
We use our hands only ( no machines). The aim is to help the body regain its capacity for self-healing. Osteopathy is used in all cases where health is disrupted, as it helps the body to function better. Cranial osteopathy is particularly important for babies and young children. The bones of the skull gradually ossify, and their disruption at birth can lead to many complications. Osteopathy never claims to solve all health problems, but it always provides valuable help.
Costs and reimbursements
We are recognized by all health insurance companies. A session lasts around 45 minutes and costs CHF 120, payable after treatment. Osteopathy sessions are generally covered by supplementary insurance.
A medical prescription is generally not required.
