About us

Chronology Rob Baartman, goldsmith's studio

On January 3, 1994, our company started on Blümlisalpstrasse as a pure atelier

.

In 1997 we moved to Hauptstrasse 21 (on the 1st floor) in the "Kinohaus"

From April 2000 we are located at Hauptstrasse 20, 3076 Worb, 

 

Main activities

Creating and manufacturing various pieces of jewelry

Modifying and repairing jewelry made by others and by yourself

Stringing and knotting beads and stone necklaces.

Jewelry appraisals for insurance companies.

Piercing ear holes.

Career

1971 - 1974     Goldsmith training at the "Vakschool Schoonhoven" in den                            The Netherlands. ( College for gold and silversmithing,

                        watchmakers, engravers and  jewellers)

1974 - 1976      Internship at the Pulver company in Bern. Production, modification and

                          Repair of jewelry and gold glasses.

1976 - 1977      As a diamond jewelry maker at Van Moppes,

                          Diamond cutters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

1977 - 1978      Model maker, repairer and salesman at Jos van der Ven,

                          Jewellery foundry in Turnhout, Belgium.

1978 - 1979      Managing Director and model maker at Juweldesign,

                         Jewelry foundry in Oss, the Netherlands.

1980 - 1982      Goldsmith in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

1983 - 1988      Goldsmith and salesman at Bijouterie Verlinden in Helmond,

                          Netherlands.

1989 - 1993      Goldsmith and representative at a goldsmith's workshop in the Bern area.

From 1994           Self-employed goldsmith with his own studio in Worb.
