Physiotherapie Seen AG – Contacts & Location
Description
A warm welcome
Our aim is to offer you a very broad spectrum of physiotherapeutic treatments in a modern practice.
Using manual techniques, we can examine functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles, nerves) in a differentiated manner and treat them in a targeted manner.
We constantly question our hypotheses and adapt the treatment to the body's reactions and the treatment results in order to achieve an optimal treatment outcome.
Muscle building / medical training therapy (MTT)
We use free weights, traction equipment and various small devices (wobble boards, gyroscopes, Sypoba, Therabands, soft mats, etc.) for training that is as relevant to everyday life as possible. In this way, we address all structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage) and promote their resilience and movement tolerance.
Neurological treatments
We treat people with neurological conditions with the aim of developing, maintaining or improving as many functions as possible in everyday life. The aim is to reintegrate the patient back into their familiar environment and thus maintain or improve their quality of life
.Child physiotherapy
The therapy is tailored to the different developmental phases of the infant/child or adolescent. These can be congenital conditions, acquired physical problems or accidents such as:
Sliding neck, developmental delay, clubfoot, fallen arches, poor posture, headaches in children, scoliosis, orthopaedic or surgical operations
Lymphological physiotherapy
We treat oedema disorders such as lymphoedema, lipoedema, phleboedema and post-traumatic - post-operative oedema. In addition to manual lymphatic drainage, the concept always includes permanent compression (with bandages and/or compression stockings)
Breathing therapy, functional rehabilitation, advice and instruction on self-treatment complete the comprehensive treatment. In an initial assessment, the exact procedure with intensive phase (reduction of oedema) and maintenance phase (through compression) is explained and the further planning of the therapy is individually adapted to the patient's problem.
Domiciliary treatments
Patients who are unable to come to us for therapy can also be treated at home, provided this has been prescribed by their doctor and their place of residence is in Winterthur-Lakes.
