A warm welcome!
Catholic Spitex is an association. Its purpose is to provide outpatient nursing care to the population of Winterthur, regardless of religion. The association does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not seek to make a profit.

- Enable patients to remain in their familiar surroundings as long as this is reasonable for all involved

- Advice for relatives and co-carers
- Relief and support for relatives and co-carers
- Avoid or shorten stays in inpatient facilities .
We are a member of the Spitex Association Canton Zurich and the umbrella organization Spitex Association Switzerland.
We have a service agreement with the city of Winterthur.
Care services
External nursing care for people of all ages and regardless of religious affiliation, in the event of illness, accident, disability, declining strength and mobility, overburdened relatives, imminent death.
Health and nursing care
Our offer is an alternative or supplement to the municipal Spitex services, hospitals, homes and other organizations.
Assessment of care needs, collaboration with doctors, hospitals and other services.
Body care, showering, bathing, assistance with getting up and getting dressed.
Administering injections, changing dressings, measuring pulse, blood pressure and blood sugar, preparing and administering medication
Basic and treatment care by the trusted caregiver
Conversations and visits after care has been completed, for example in a nursing home or hospital
Companionship in crisis situations and during dying according to palliative principles
