Expert knowledge, flair, care, a love of nature and a little obsession with wine: these are the ingredients for the wines of Steimer Weinbau, along with the 10 grape varieties cultivated. The winemaker and his expert team at the foot of the  Lägernhang passionately nurture and care for the grapes that are vinified into high-quality wines.
The Riesling-Sylvaner in particular has been one of the trademarks of the Wettingen winery for years and the Pinot Noir in different variations - for example, aged in steel tanks or barriques - is a highly valued accompaniment to food. Of course, the full-bodied Herrenberg Exklusiv is a delight and does not have to hide from other great Pinot Noirs.
The wines impress with their aromatic clarity and fruitiness thanks to low yields, selective hand-picking of fully ripe grapes and solid winemaking craftsmanship at the highest level.

Winegrowing in harmony with nature
The vineyard above the municipality of Wettingen is cultivated according to strict ecological guidelines and in harmony with nature. "In addition to the lizards, songbirds and other animals, the soil, the vine, the grape and perhaps even the stone have a soul in the vineyard," says winegrower Christian Steimer. This responsibility towards nature and thus towards the wine connoisseur is lived every day - and you can tell by the wines from Steimer Weinbau.
