Manuela Venturini's dog dream

Having been there for you for over 10 years

In 2005, I turned my hobby into my profession and founded Manuela Venturini's Dog Dream. For the first three years, I worked part-time in a care home for severely disabled people, until I increasingly turned to my flair and intuition for dogs and realized my dream of becoming self-employed.

The care of balanced as well as behaviorally disturbed dogs became more and more my focus. This was followed by the establishment of an appropriate dog school aimed at dog owners who wanted to consciously control and sustainably change the behavior of their four-legged friends thanks to correct posture, gestures, charisma and correct interpretation of dog language 

Since both services could no longer be combined due to time constraints, I decided to focus on dog care and now offer dog day care or dog boarding for individual days or throughout the week. This dogsitting includes dog care, walking, dog games and feeding in a long lasting and harmonious pack. You can find out more about my detailed offer here  dog boarding.

Dog boarding

My services

• Care of day dogs with drop-off and pick-up service
• Daily walks (2-4h) and hikes in a pack
• Care (dogsitting): 5 days per week (no kennels)

The dogs live with me in the house and garden and experience everyday life in a similar way to your home. A visit and getting to know each other is required beforehand (no breeds requiring a license and no unneutered males are accepted). In a constant and harmonious pack, your dog will experience a high quality of life and is welcome from Monday to Friday.

Infrastructure

The boarding kennel offers a maximum of 19 places, 600 m2 free-range kennel with meadow and shady places in the outdoor area secured by a 2 meter high fence. Overnight accommodation in the house and a small dog bath in the outdoor area provide variety and fun.

Housing

I see group housing as controlled, managed pack housing with a family connection. The focus is on the animal and its needs. The dog can move around freely and fits into the pack, which ensures that the dog's basic needs are met. The hierarchy of the pack is controlled by my presence and recognition as pack leader, and overstepping is avoided as far as possible through supervision. The guided and consistent pack management builds trust and reduces stress and insecurity among the dogs. The kennel is recognized by the Veterinary Office of the Canton of Bern and I am allowed to take in and walk up to 19 dogs at a time.
