The psychiatry and psychotherapy services offered cover the broad spectrum of mental health disorders: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychoses, obsessive-compulsive disorder, addictions, personality disorders, sleep or eating disorders, etc.
They will also teach us to resolve various problematic situations that disrupt our daily lives or relationships:exhaustion, loneliness, overwork, family conflicts, transition from one life cycle to another, separation, parental concerns, loss of a loved one, etc.
Taking time for reflection, based on psychotherapeutic work, helps to establish a new perspective on stressful circumstances and energize psychological resources that have hitherto proved little operative.
The psychotherapeutic space offers to help open-minded people carry out a process of self-reflection, harmonizing their internal balance.
Therapy can be considered, either accompanied by significant members of the family or entourage, or on an individual basis.
This is discussed at the first interview, depending on the request and the problem.
Once the objectives have been defined, the number of sessions can vary from a few sessions to longer-term work. The frequency and spacing of sessions are agreed together and regularly re-evaluated.
The prescription of psychotropic medication, in conjunction with psychotherapy, is generally not essential. This can nevertheless be provided if necessary, including complex polymedication.
Our services are recognized and covered by all Swiss health insurance companies (Assurance Obligatoire des Soins) LAMal, by the vast majority of international insurers, as well as by a number of complementary insurances.
