How time flies. It seems like it was only yesterday when Stephan Straubhaar (Managing Director) made the decision to start his own business. On May 28, 1999, the time had come and we drove the first order in the name of Straubhaar Carreisen in a 50-seater bus.

At first, we were mainly allowed to carry out trips for friendly companies, but we soon had a small circle of regular customers, which at that time consisted mainly of clubs.

In April 2000, we already had so many orders that we had to purchase a second vehicle. Of course, our new 50-seater bus also needed a driver, which we found in Santschi Hans Ruedi.

Another year later, in June 2001, our first bus, called "Pinki", was replaced by the double-decker Bistro bus, which is particularly popular for club outings and company trips.

In 2002, a trailer with special equipment for transporting 40 bicycles was added. In 2004, a 3rd bus and another trailer were added to our company.

As you can see on the "Vehicle fleet" page, our fleet is constantly being renewed and expanded.

Today, Straubhaar Carreisen employs two chauffeurs, ten temporary drivers and one office employee.

In the meantime, our son Johnny is already on the road for you with our buses.
