History and employees

On January 1, 1984, Paul and Marlise Roos took over the former Gerber joinery in Buckten with one worker and worked there until 1997. In the fall, they moved into the newly built Langmatt commercial building in Thürnen, which they built and used together with the construction company Hasler AG. The commercial building was completely destroyed by fire in September 2012. With a lot of energy, money and passion our "home" was rebuilt, so that we were able to celebrate the reopening on March 28 at an "open day".

Unfortunately, patron and namesake, Paul Roos, was no longer able to experience this moment he died at the beginning of February 2014 from the late effects of asbestos work. Since June 1, 2012, David Gysin has been managing Paul Roos AG together with Marlise Roos. The company currently employs 15 people, who we introduce to you in more detail under "Team".
