Safelec is a company specializing in the inspection of electrical installations in Switzerland based on the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Electrical Installations (OIBT) of 2020.

Since January 1, 2002, the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Electrical Installations (OIBT) has been in force. Owners are now responsible for their buildings' electrical installations. The owner must ensure compliance with the basic safety requirements of the electrical installation and maintain it.
