Description
Electrical control
At the beginning of 2002, the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Installations or OIBT came into force in Switzerland. This ordinance assigns responsibility to building owners for the conformity of their electrical installations in relation to the legislation in force in the Confederation. Through these inspections, the owner justifies the conformity of his electrical installations. The costs of these inspections, and any work required to bring the installations into compliance, are borne by the building owner. Contact us for a quote or offer for these services.
Also according to this ordinance, the time between the inspection request and the delivery of the safety report is limited to 6 months. In fact, the first inspection essentially indicates the defects detected, which are transcribed in an inspection report. The owner then asks his electrical installer to rectify the defects. On completion of the work, the inspection body carries out the checks and draws up the safety report. A second inspection, called an acceptance inspection, may be required for certain buildings.
