Availability

• Medically prescribed treatments can be requested 24 hours a day by arrangement.
• In emergencies, the generally applicable cantonal emergency medical service applies.

Health and nursing care

• Needs assessment
• Support with personal hygiene
• Medically prescribed treatments, e.g., administration of medication, injections, changing dressings, etc.
• Palliative care
• Advice and instruction for patients, relatives, and caregivers

Help with household chores

The following services are available to you:

• Ongoing household tasks (cleaning, laundry, ironing, and shopping)
• Preparation of meals
• Care and support for the elderly, sick, injured, and disabled (social care services)

Meal service

The meal service is organized by Pro Senectute.

The meals cooked at the Stein am Rhein retirement and nursing home are portioned into special boxes and delivered to the home each morning by a distributor. Thanks to a well-designed system, the meals can be reheated safely and easily in an induction oven supplied by Pro Senectute. Meals can be ordered for three (minimum) to six days per week (no deliveries on Saturday and Sunday). It is also possible to order meals for just a few weeks.
