Description
Holinger Peider and Manuela (-Horber)
The Holinger joinery is a traditional St. Moritz company in its second generation. We have been producing high-quality woodwork to order since 1952. In addition to the well-known Swiss stone pine furniture, we are passionate about interior fittings made from reclaimed wood, the restoration of antiques and our framing studio.
Our family business with over 60 years of experience specializes in sophisticated interior design, renovations and conversions as well as the production of custom-made individual pieces for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
In addition to the carpentry workshop, the Holinger joinery also includes our showroom in St. Moritz Bad. With a well-coordinated team of 10 employees, we design your individual home according to your wishes in the highest quality and with attention to detail.
In our exhibition rooms, we give various artists the opportunity to present their works.
A beautiful selection of antiques, reclaimed wood furniture, Swiss stone pine products and various pictures on stretcher frames and retro posters of St. Moritz await you in the Holinger joinery exhibition. If you're looking for wooden accessories and antique lamps, you've also come to the right place. The spicy, fragrant wood of the Swiss stone pine
The Swiss stone pine, known in Germany and Austria as Swiss stone pine, grows on the upper forest edges of Alpine mountain slopes. Its rapid growth only slows down after a few years. Swiss stone pines can live for up to 300 years. The light-colored, light wood of the Swiss stone pine is easy to carve and the dark branch circles are a popular decorative element.
Local Engadin farmers have always liked to use Swiss stone pine wood - to this day it is and remains one of the most popular Engadin building materials.
