The company was founded over 100 years ago by Jakob Rüegg. In 1979, Ruedi Rüegg took over the business from his father in the third generation. It was always important to him to run a family business and maintain customer proximity.

In 2013, Ruedi Rüegg AG was founded. This year, Ruedi Rüegg passed away after a serious illness and handed over the company to his long-time employee Christian Zwiker.
Our aim is to continue the company in his name and according to his philosophy.
