As you step through the door of the tasting room in Géronde, you'll immediately be seduced by the resolutely modern and warm décor that awaits you. The glass bar lit by subdued light will bring a touch of sensuality to your tasting. Wine bottles are arranged in sober yet elegant wooden niches. They are dominated by a magnificent gallery of images representing our wineries. A series of earth sections will inform you about the nature of Valais soils, particularly those on which our vines grow. Finally, majestic wooden tuns sit for eternity behind large glass doors.
To ensure the best possible welcome, we ask groups wishing to visit the winery to register in advance. In principle, we accept a maximum of 15 people at a time, but it is possible to form several groups in the event of large numbers.

Descriptions
Domaines Rouvinez is a family business founded in Sierre in 1947 by Bernard Rouvinez, an independent winegrower, then developed by his two sons, Dominique and Jean-Bernard, both winegrower-oenologists. The family tradition continues with the arrival of Véronique Besson-Rouvinez, Frédéric Rouvinez and Philippe Rouvinez.
From the outset, the Rouvinez family chose to focus on the production of top-of-the-range wines, in particular the great Valais specialties such as Petite Arvine and Cornalin. They have played a pioneering role in the development of blended wines, such as Tourmentin (red), Trémaille (white) and Grains Nobles (overripe).
Enhancing the typicity of terroirs is certainly one of the house's major assets. Achieving the right balance between soil and grape variety has required considerable investment. Indeed, the Rouvinez brothers have almost entirely replanted the plots and developed a policy of associating a variety with a particular geographical and geological entity.
