The drilling specialists at BTD Bohrtechnik AG present the latest generation of drill rigs  

The traditional Swiss company BTD-Bohrtechnik AG offers top service and individual advice. Its core competence is the manufacture, development and sale of drilling rigs, drilling tools and backfilling materials in the specialist foundation engineering and geothermal sector.

Together with Implenia Schweiz AG Teufen, a new drill rig was designed and delivered.

The drill rig impresses with its good drilling performance and lightweight design. It is used in special civil engineering primarily for micropile, anchor and vane wall support drilling in small to larger drilling diameters. The powerful equipment, combined with an external percussion hammer and the simultaneous drilling system, covers a wide range of drilling applications and is so versatile for our customers!

Breakthrough new simultaneous drilling system 

This combines drilling with a top hammer and classic drilling with a down-the-hole hammer. Both systems can be used simultaneously and offer optimum drilling progress in different and difficult soils. Adopting the external dimensions of existing modular cutterhead systems enables different systems to be replaced quickly and cost-effectively. The simultaneous drilling system is also used internationally, for example in a diamond mine in Alaska, Chile and Spain.
