The Malerei-Gipserei Studer AG is a 3rd generation family business with tradition and innovation. Since the founding of the painter-plasterer's workshop in 1935 by Ernst Studer Senior, our company has continued to develop and grow to this day.

1935 - Foundation of the Maler-Gipser workshop by Ernst Studer Senior 1st generation master painter

1962 - Son Ernest Studer takes over the management as 2nd generation Swiss certified master painter

1970 - Continuation of a sole proprietorship Ernest Studer - Goetz

1989 - Entry of Gilbert Studer, son of Ernest Studer-Goetz, 3rd generation

1993 - Gilbert Studer passes the examination to become a Swiss certified master painter

1996 - Gilbert Studer takes over the sole proprietorship from Ernest Studer-Goetz, new Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2010 - Takeover of the company Malergeschäft René Bogaert in Solothurn and integration into Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2012 - Florian Hedinger joins the company Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert

2016 - Transformation of the company Malerei-Gipserei Studer Gilbert into a public limited company Malerei-Gipserei Studer AG

2019 - Florian Hedinger takes over the management of the plastering division

Today, we employ 18 people and 4 apprentices in the painting and plastering divisions, making us one of the largest companies in the Solothurn region. Together with our long-standing employees, our team is the ideal specialist business for all painting and plastering work. Thanks to our great commitment to promoting young talent, we are able to pass on our craft to young, interested specialists and prepare our company for the future. With our modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art vehicles, we make a valuable contribution to our precious environment.
