le Promeneur – Contacts & Location
Description
Since 2001 "Le Promeneur" has been a family-run business offering its loyal customers a vast choice of layer hens, fattening and laying chicks, advanced chickens, turkeys and guinea fowl. Our poultry are just as well suited to intensive farming as they are to the extensive rearing of Mr. and Mrs. Everyman.
Turkeys and Guinea Fowl:
For the festive season, we make turkeys from 3 to 10 kg and guinea fowl, to order.
Self-service
Poultry farm products are available 7 days a week, all year round, thanks to the self-service sales system directly at Reverolle.
When organizing a birthday party, family celebration, company outing or other event, order the free-range chickens at Reverolle, and the spit to prepare them will be made available to you free of charge.
You'll also find chicken fillets smoked with pepper, garlic or herbs de Provence and espelette pepper in our self-service restaurant. They can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an appetizer, accompanied by a local wine.
Where to find our chickens
On sale at the Boucherie de Sévery and the Boucherie de Cossonay, and at a number of local farmers' markets and the Ferme aux saveur d'autrefois in Bussy-Chardonney.
The Restaurant de la Couronne, in Apples, regularly offers chicken dishes.
A little corner of paradise
At first, the family farm was organized around vineyard work and farming. Over the past ten years or so, we have specialized in the production of free-range chickens, which we will bring to your table.
Rearing
Once they have reached the age of 21 days, they enjoy a life in the open air for six to eight weeks.
The feed
Our feed is produced by the family business Moulin de Lavaux, which is located in the Aubonne Valley. We use only local cereals and top-quality raw materials. This feed contains mainly wheat and corn. This feed is also on sale at the poultry park.
The result
For complete traceability, we also carry out our own slaughtering on state-certified premises in perfect conditions. We offer chickens from 1.2kg. to 4kg. depending on demand from our collaborators (butchers, farmers' markets and restaurateurs).
