From the collaboration of the Osogna Safe Driving and the Accademia Pedagogica della Circolazione of Biasca comes the organization licensed to teach the Compulsory Supplementary Training Courses more commonly referred to as "2-step Courses" for new drivers in Ticino.

As of Dec. 1, 2005, those who obtain a driver's license of category A (motorcycle) or B (car) and thus will have followed the normal theoretical and practical training course of the "first stage," will have to take one day of additional training within 1 year from the date of passing the practical driving test. The duration of the probationary license is always 3 years from the date of obtaining it.
