On June 21, 1991, I started the company ARNOLD Engineering und Beratung together with my wife Marie-Ann at Wallisellerstrasse 75 in Opfikon. On September 20, 1991, we registered with the Commercial Register of the Canton of Zurich as a sole proprietorship.

On October 1, 1991, Maria Krieger started as the first employee. Werner Jud joined the company on November 1, 1992 and Henrik Lowack joined in January 1994. Our son Michael has been working with us since 2008 and Ruben Saijas joined the company in 2012.

You are all still here. And we are delighted that Luca Wachter joined the team on June 1.

Michael Arnold has been running the small company ARNOLD Engineering und Beratung, AG für EMV und Blitzschutz with conviction and success since 2011.

The sole proprietorship ARNOLD Engineering und Beratung was converted into a public limited company in 2011.

We advise, design, measure, analyze, support, monitor, examine, test and inform in the fields of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and lightning protection.

We provide services in the field of electromagnetic compatibility installation technology. This includes NIR field measurements, NIR simulations, network analyses and fault analyses. We provide system designs, expert opinions, system inspections, lightning and surge protection advice and conduct training courses.

We inspect low-voltage electrical installations in accordance with the Low Voltage Installations Ordinance (NIV) (SR 734.27) of November 7, 2001 as of June 1, 2019.

Since July 31, 2023, we have been accredited by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO as a

testing laboratory for metrological recording and analysis of power quality

: 
measurement of conducted interference emissions and power quality analyses
in the low-voltage grid up to 1000V.
