What is shiatsu?
The Japanese term "shiatsu" literally means "thumb pressure". During treatment, appropriate pressure with the thumbs, hands, elbows and knees is exerted on the meridians.
Shiatsu harmonizes energetic, physical and psychological balance. It promotes general well-being by stimulating the vital energies of the person, whatever their age.
Shiatsu stimulates the healing process, it is among other things, a help for disorders linked to stress and overwork, it helps relieve back pain, abdominal pain, joint pain as well as headaches.
Shiatsu provides effective support in the treatment of chronic illnesses, and is an excellent complement to conventional therapies.
Similarly, it is entirely appropriate for accompanying a pregnancy, enabling the mother-to-be to prepare for the arrival of the child in harmonious conditions.
Shiatsu is reimbursed by most supplementary insurances.
A shiatsu session lasts about an hour and is practiced on a futon. The patient can be dressed in light clothing, cotton if possible. During and after the treatment, patients experience deep relaxation and a feeling of being "whole", often accompanied by sensations of vitality, lightness, amplitude, calm, warmth, openness, clarity etc.
A session lasts about 1 hour and costs CHF 100.
Shiatsu does not, of course, replace medical treatment, but does reinforce it. It is, however, complementary to any other form of therapy.
Shiatsu is reimbursed by supplementary insurance.
The session takes place in a warm, comfortable setting.
Family counseling
From our wingers we hrition their physical characteristics, but also their fardaux, their sufferings. Family constellation work helps to restore these fardations, to unblock situations that seem inextricable, to regain the strength to act in everyday life.
What is Reiki? History, presentation and definition
Reiki was rediscovered in Japan by Mikao Usui ( 1865-1926 ) a century ago. It's made up of the words "Rei" representing the essence of the source existing in everything, and "Ki" meaning vital energy. Hawayo Takata ( 1900-1980 ) subsequently transmitted and spread Reiki throughout the world.
Transmission takes place through the laying on of hands on the recipient's body. The giver is simply a channel and does not perform any physical manipulation. He simply lets the energy circulate, purifying and harmonizing the receiver on all levels of his being (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual). The energy directs itself to the areas that need it. Reiki does not directly eradicate physical symptoms, but releases the original causes of blockages, pain or illness. Reiki does not, of course, replace medical treatment, but does reinforce it. It is, however, complementary to any other form of therapy, and proves to be a marvellous means of freeing oneself from daily stress and thus regaining one's full capacities.
