DESCRIPTION
The Municipality of Blenio came into existence on October 22, 2006 with the elections of the City Hall and the Municipal Council after the aggregation of the 5 municipalities of Aquila, Campo Blenio, Ghirone, Olivone and Torre was decreed by the Grand Council on January 25, 2005.
