The Aziende Industriali di Lugano (AIL) SA is the largest retail and wholesale distributor of water, natural gas and electricity in the Canton of Ticino. Their products and services are purchased daily by more than 110,000 private and corporate customers, distributed in about 54 municipalities, over a geographical area stretching from Monte Ceneri to the Novazzano state border. They build and operate the networks necessary to transport products from the point of production or purchase to the customer.

In addition to core services, AIL SA offers alternative and/or complementary energy products to its customers, promotes energy efficiency and green energy; conceiving and implementing projects that respect the environment and the welfare of its customers.

AIL SA employs more than 430 employees and has an annual turnover that exceeds 300 million francs.
