Wine is poetry. Its stanzas unfurl one by one to seduce our senses and touch our hearts.

Since 1987, the winery that bears the name of its founder, Alexis Jacquérioz, has been making gentle wines, enhancing the typicity of grape varieties and terroirs. We own 5 hectares of vines and work with some thirty suppliers who share our passion for quality. A carefully selected harvest, combined with know-how that allows each bunch to reveal its purest expression... The result is winesfresh, fruity, round, woody, sweet or powerful, but above all... unique.

In 2006, after 9 years working alongside Alexis Jacquérioz, Michael Herminjard took over. The winery migrates from the foot of the Château de la Bâtiaz, where it was born, to Rue du Châble-Bet. This is where our vintages are now matured and bottled. Five ranges make up our rich and varied offering, likely to appeal to all palates. The Laura Chaplin selection is dedicated to the most demanding.

In 2017, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the winery was renamed Cave la Cinquième Saison, following in the footsteps of its eponymous vintage, an emblem in its own right. Our tasting room can accommodate up to thirty guests in a warm and inviting setting. The entire team, led by Michael Herminjard with the complicity of Mégane Chappuis, cellar master, and Federico Romano, cellar master, looks forward to your visit.
