Developed by scientists at Harvard Medical School (USA), cryolipolysis is based on the scientific finding that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than other cell types. This effect is used to treat fat cells without surgery.

The desired body area is cooled to a temperature around freezing point for around 30-70 minutes using a cold vacuum applicator, without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue.

As cryolipolysis only works from the outside, no anaesthetic is required and there is no downtime. So even exercising immediately after the treatment is no problem!
