Le Café de l'Hôtel-de-Ville in Lausanne is a small historic bistro located in the heart of the old town on Place de la Palud. Run by Marie and Vanessa since 1996, this restaurant offers vegetarian, local and seasonal cuisine.

Also a Café-Galerie, in a wooded setting, you can discover Marie's paintings.

Every day at lunch, Marie's Assiette, always vegetarian, adaptable for vegans, sprinkled with small seeds and other cold-pressed oils. You'll also find our famous warm goat's cheese salad on toast with honey and roasted sesame seeds, as well as many other mixed salads. On Saturdays, we also offer a menu of pizzas and bägel. To accompany your meal, a classic from now on, the drink with fresh ginger and hibiscus, a wide choice of teas, coffee freshly roasted in Valais, apple juice from the market, lemonades and other capucino with oat milk.

On sunny days, a few tables in front of the restaurant allow you to dine while soaking up the sun's rays; reservation recommended, especially on market days, Saturdays and Wednesdays.
