L'EDL, Ecole Dubois Lausanne, is ideally located opposite Lausanne train station.
The school was taken over in 2005 by two architects HES, SIA, Dominique Benoit and Joël Colon, registered as mandataires with CAMAC, the central office for building permit applications in the canton of Vaud. They practice their profession as architects at their Atelier d'architecture, Place de la Gare 4 in Lausanne, and provide EDL students with hands-on experience of the different phases of their architectural and design mandates, from pre-project to execution and from site supervision to final realization.
Teaching is halfway between Bauhaus principles and the spirit of Swiss Design. Artistic training through multidisciplinary workshops aims to enhance the rapprochement of various artistic fields and practices. Teachers in architecture and interior decoration, industrial design e furniture, graphic design e visual communication, styling and pattern making are all working professionals.
As a result, the school's teaching staff is well versed in the art of design, and is able to draw on the experience of a wide range of professionals.

Member of IIDA, International Interior Design Association, an international non-profit organization whose aim is to defend the interests of designers, promote the design profession to trade and industry and raise awareness of the positive impact of design on people's well-being and health. Through the association, our students have access to all international competitions in the design world.
In this artistic spirit that drives it,EDL is a member of the Association du Cercle des Amis du Béjart Ballet Lausanne, BBL and the Association des amis de Pietro Sarto. It also supports Neuchâtel painter and sculptor Marcel Mathys.
