1971
Ueli Rechsteiner founds a sole proprietorship.

1974
The sole proprietorship is converted into a public limited company.

1981
The new factory building in Laupen near Wald is occupied.

1998
Simon Rechsteiner,  federally certified master metalworker, joins the family business.

2006
Simon Rechsteiner becomes the owner of U. Rechsteiner AG.

2011
We celebrate 40 years of U. Rechsteiner AG.
