digitalSTROM networks electrical devices with each other in a simple way. Electricity consumption becomes visible and measurable. At the same time, safety and convenience increase.

An ant-sized chip makes it possible: installed directly in the devices
or in an adapter plug, it allows the devices to communicate with each other. This works via the existing 230 V power supply. Installation is done in a few simple steps. digitalSTROM devices mediate between power generation and power consumption. The digitalSTROM chip reduces the standby consumption of electrical appliances from the conventional 3 to 5 watts to less than 0.3 watts. This means that devices only consume electricity when it is really necessary. At the same time, the power consumption of the individual devices becomes visible. A simple traffic light system indicates unusually high power consumption. The small red light indicates unwanted operation or defective appliances. A worn refrigerator seal is detected just as quickly and can be repaired by a specialist as a dripping tap. digitalSTROM helps to reduce electricity consumption thanks to comprehensive transparency of consumption.

digitalSTROM is above all a convenience system: networked devices can be controlled via any switch in a room, different lighting scenes can be called up at the touch of a button, the blinds can be raised and lowered and even the stereo system can be controlled via a conventional light switch. "Fewer buttons, more convenience" is the credo of the system, which makes reading an instruction manual superfluous.
