Description
Biogas - the natural cycle of nature
In the course of the human and animal food chain, various organic residues such as green waste, food waste, by-products from food production, liquid manure, dung, etc. are produced, which are utilized in our biogas plant.
In the fermenters of our plant, the fermentation process produces biogas from these organic residues as a high-quality and CO2-neutral energy source. Biogas is used as a fuel, heat source or in decentralized electricity production.
In addition to the gas, the nutrients from the organic residues are retained after fermentation. This is used to produce liquid fertilizers and soil conditioners, which are used in agriculture and horticulture and make an important contribution to nutrient supply and humus formation. This has a positive effect on soil structure, water, air and nutrient balance as well as biological soil activity and plant growth - the natural cycle closes
