Osteopathie und Physiotherapie St. Wolfgang – Contacts & Location
Description
Physiotherapy and osteopathy St. Wolfgang
Physiotherapy treats, supports, accompanies and advises healthy, sick, injured and disabled people.
The basis for efficient and effective therapy is a thorough medical history and examination of the patient at the start of therapy. The therapist then identifies the causes of the musculoskeletal disorders and develops a suitable treatment method that is individually tailored to the patient. The therapy usually consists of various treatment techniques which together lead to success. The therapy is also specific to occupation, sport and age.

- Osteopathy
Welcome to Osteopathy St. Wolfgang Osteopathy is a systemic form of medicine that looks at people from a holistic perspective and takes into account the interdependence and interactivity of various systems in the body.
It focuses primarily on preventing and correcting functional and physical disorders.
"Life is movement"
The body functions thanks to the ability to perform movements. This includes not only the visible movements of the joints, but also the subtle, unconscious movements of almost all body parts, body systems and organs: for example, the rhythm of breathing, the heartbeat of the heart, but also the peristalsis of the intestinal tract and the movements of the cerebrospinal fluid.
If there is a loss of this movement, this can lead to pain, tension or dysfunction - illness can spread.
The trained osteopath can detect and resolve these movement restrictions - so that life can flow again!
Application areas of osteopathy
- Motor system: acute and chronic complaints of the spine or peripheral joints
- Internal organs: Digestive disorders, heartburn, after operations...
- Problems in the head area:headaches, migraines, dizziness, jaw joint problems...
- Pediatrics: torticollis, colic, crying children, after difficult birth...
- Gynaecology: Treatment of women before and after childbirth
- Functional disorders
- Chronic pain
- After trauma / surgery
- Headaches
- Migraine
- Digestive problems
- Incontinence
- Jaw problems
Course of treatmentThe time required for an osteopathic treatment is between 30 and 60 minutes. The osteopath detects movement restrictions and dysfunctions and resolves them manually to give the body an impetus to heal itself.
Three areas of the body are always examined and treated:
- Parietal system: the musculoskeletal system with joints and muscles
- Visceral system: the internal organs
- Cranio-sacral system: the functional unit of the skull and sacrum, the spinal cord and the nervous system
BillingOsteopathic treatments can be billed via supplementary insurance for complementary medicine. I have the necessary billing number. However, for your own safety, please clarify in advance whether your health insurance will cover the costs.
No doctor's prescription is required for osteopathic treatment.
